Oblates Meeting

We will have our next regularly scheduled meeting for Benedictine Oblates In The Diaspora on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 7:45, pm in the Rectory. This meeting is designed for those who are already Benedictine Oblates but who, for whatever reason, are not able to go frequently to the monastery of their oblation.

Another session of the Q&A "Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About The Catholic Church* (*...but were afraid th ask) will take place on Monday, June 18 from 7:30-9:00 PM inside the Shrine Church itself.

Questions concerning anything at all that you may wish to know about the Church may be submitted anonymously in writing. These are randomly pulled from a hat and answered citing authoritative sources.

This evening, designed for adults, is relaxed and enjoyable. Come and learn what you'd like to know about Church law; history; liturgy; discipline; morality, etc. Bring a friend. admission FREE!
Diocesan Holy Hour

Each year on the same weekend as the ordinations to the Priesthood the Diocese of Metuchen Office of Vocations holds a Holy Hour to pray for the men about to be ordained as well as to pray for more vocations to the priesthood and diaconate. This year the Holy Hour will take place on Friday, May 25, 2012 at 7:00, PM here in the Shrine.

The Most Reverend Paul G. Bootkoski, DD, Bishop of Metuchen will preside. The three men to be ordained to the sacred priesthood the following day will also attend. Music is provided by the Diocesan Choir.

Please consider joining us as we gather here at the Shrine as a diocesan family to pray for more people to answer God's call of service.

Corpus Christi Procession

On Sunday, June 10 following a celebration of Mass in the Ordinary Form in English at 1:00, PM​​ there will be a procession with the Blessed Sacrament through the streets of Raritan making stops at St. Joseph and St. Ann parish churches. The procession will conclude with Benediction at the Shrine. Refreshments to follow in the Rectory garden. Join us for this annual event manifesting our belief in the True Presence.
